Gerard, a Chartered Accountant who qualified with Price Waterhouse, now has over 15 years involvement in the lighting industry. He led the MBO of the company in 2001, and is now focused on improving the overall performance of the business. “Finance was obtained not just for the purchase of the business, but also to fund an investment programme to replace key production plant and machinery, resulting in reduced manufacturing lead times and improvements in product quality. This investment programme is now being implemented”.
Product Designer
Khan started life at Jerrards in production, becoming a factory floor supervisor, before being chosen to take a sponsored Lighting Industry Federation course in the theory and application of lighting principles, lamps and installation design. Khan passed this course, and then undertook formal 3D CAD training to join the design team.
Technical Sales Support
Luke joined Jerrards in 2001. His previous experience as a lighting draughtsman and designer gives him the knowledge to support clients’ needs.

Louis has over 30 years experience in the lighting industry, covering both components and lighting manufacture. Louis is particularly keen to improve Jerrards service element. “Although we are already known and respected for our service, my aim is that our customers will see Jerrards as the first choice for designing and manufacturing bespoke lighting products. This will be helped by capitalizing on our strong links with suppliers such as Philips and Helvar which enable us to offer the very latest technology available.”
Senior Projects Manager
Peter, based in Yorkshire, is responsible for all Jerrards northern clients. Peter has over 20 years in the lighting industry. He particularly enjoys solving the trickiest of lighting problems.
